It is gratifying that this year already the second bonus was awarded to 56 young talents for special achievements. The school performances, the employee interviews, the good or excellent success in the performance competition, and the final apprenticeship examination were considered.

The apprentice performance competitions of the Industry Division are proof of the high level of apprenticeship training in Vorarlberg. The apprentices took center stage at the closing ceremony and the subsequent concert by reggae musician Protoje! A total of 14 apprentices from the second year of our technical apprenticeships took part - three of them graduated with excellent success and nine with good success.

Volker Buth, CEO of Hirschmann Automotive, Resigns

Volker Buth, Chief Executive Officer of Hirschmann Automotive, has decided to resign from business operations due to health reasons. He will continue to remain a part of the company in an advisory capacity.

As every year, the time had come again at the beginning of September 2022: we welcomed 21 new apprentices and one business student to Hirschmann Automotive at the plant in Rankweil, Austria. This year, the newcomers went to Hotel Viktor in Viktorsberg for a few days to get to know each other.
The girls and boys are trained in the professions of toolmaking, plastics technology, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, process technology, IT technology and operational logistics. This year, for the first time, the program will also include the apprenticeship of production measurement technician.
The apprentices are offered a modern and comprehensive training program in an internationally active company. In addition, they enjoy many benefits such as performance-based bonus payments, stays abroad in our plants, learning hours in the company, convertible notebooks for professional, school and private use, reduced-price lunch in our works canteen and much more.
We also have 3 new apprentices starting at our plant in Freyung, Germany. Two apprentices will learn the apprenticeship toolmaking and one apprentice will be trained as an industrial clerk.
We are looking forward to accompany the apprentices and the student for the next years and to train them to become the skilled workers of tomorrow.
