In cooperation with renowned OEMs, Hirschmann Automotive has successfully further developed its HIRSCHMANN PowerStar plug connection system for high-voltage applications.
What sets the HIRSCHMANN PowerStar 40-2 apart is its optimized, lightweight design. Its compact dimensions allow it to be installed efficiently in even the narrowest of spaces. The plug connector is fully operational even at extremely high temperatures, and is watertight in accordance with IP6K9K, making it extremely reliable even when subject to harsh environmental conditions. The HIRSCHMANN PowerStar 40-2 is easy to assemble and is equipped with an integrated interlock feature as well as a circumferential shielded transition for safe connection and disconnection. The HCT4 contact system was designed and developed by Hirschmann Automotive. Upon request, a wide variety of device connections can be implemented, and even space-saving multiple connections are possible. Naturally, the plug connectors themselves comply with the global standards of the automotive industry.
Specialist in Extreme Vibration Resistance
The SealStar HMK 2.8 is a patented, high-performance motor contact system with vibration resistance of up to 80 g sine/2,000 Hz that is used in the engine compartment because this is where the greatest demands in terms of vibration and temperature are placed on device housing. The patented insertion process ensures that the cables can be assembled with minimal effort and guarantees a reliable, high level of contact normal force. The product is available with different numbers of poles and different coding options.
