Pascal Hetzenauer Takes Up Position of CSO Following Latest Board Resolution
Hirschmann Automotive is adding another member to its management team to help it keep up with changing market requirements and manage continued growth.
Pascal Hetzenauer has been appointed to the management team alongside current Board members Volker Buth (CEO), Markus Ganahl (COO), and Stefan Tschol (CFO). He will take up his position as Chief Sales Officer (CSO) on August 1, 2021.
In his new position as CSO, he will provide strategic and operational leadership in the sales team, thus making a major contribution to ensuring the company remains on a sustainable, future-focused footing.
Pascal Hetzenauer joined Hirschmann Automotive as an apprentice in 2004 and has held a variety of positions within the company over the last 17 years. On completing his apprenticeship, he spent eight years in the Process Development and Quality Management departments, where he gained valuable experience. Pascal Hetzenauer, who holds degrees in industrial engineering and business management, served as Global Product Manager for High-Voltage Applications at Hirschmann Automotive between 2016 and 2020 before becoming Sales & Marketing Director last year.
He has an outstanding knowledge of the company, and will bring that knowledge to bear in his new role with the aim of contributing to sustainable, profitable growth. The primary focus of his work will be on continuing the strategic development of the sales structure. Other priorities for the new CSO will include driving forward new technology, acquiring new customers worldwide, strengthening Hirschmann Automotive’s sales organization, and boosting the company’s presence in the North American and Chinese markets.
